A new smile can give you more confidence
Those of you who know Dr. Zukiwsky know he is not afraid of a challenge, either personal or professional. Dr. Zukiwsky thrives on being the best he can be, and embracing technology to build one of the most technically advanced and comprehensive dental treatment centres in North America is an accomplishment he is very proud of.
Recently, long-time patient Jon Moores reaped an exciting reward from Dr. Zukiwky's enthusiasm for providing exceptional dental services. An opportunity at the world famous Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies (LVI) allowed Dr. Zukiwsky to bring Jon to the centre as his teaching case study. The condition, complexity and challenge of repairing and restoring Jon's smile to optimum function was unique and proved to be a most interesting case at LVI.
Smile a by-product of function
Even though Jon had kept up his dental care and done the things he should have been doing, much of the work in his mouth was out of date and in need of rejuvination. Dr. Zukiwsky and Jon decided to take the opportunity to also create a new cosmetic smile since so much restorative work was already required.

Process:
Step 1: Determine muscles comfort position of jaw through a series of appointments on the TENS machine and SS 19 dental articulator.
Step 2: Establish and construct the working blue print which shows the colour, size, shape and relative position of teeth in order to reconstruct Jon's bite in the NM rest position.
Step 3: Prepare all teeth, soft tissue laser for tissue reshaping (top and bottom), place temporaries to look and feel like the finished bite in the NM rest position.
Step 4: Test drive the bite, adjusting function and aesthetics.
Step 5: Install permanent teeth.
